Kids Holiday Gift Guide 2021
one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight
It’s that time of the year when kids begin wanting anything and everything! Suddenly they don’t love Paw Patrol anymore and are requesting the newest toy that is sure to fly off the shelf! To save you some time, and keep you from long holiday lines, we have come up with a few gift ideas that are sure to put a smile on your little one’s face!
ONE | CRAYON LETTERS
I have never met a child who didn’t love crayons! Whether it is drawing a rocket ship or designing the newest princess gown, these crayons will not disappoint! The best part is that these crayons come in a variety of shapes, letters, and colors! Liesel has purchased these in the past and can say with confidence that they are great quality (and made by a small, female-owned business)! Be sure to personalize a set of crayons with your child’s name and add in a few dinosaurs for your future paleontologist or a princess crown for your little princess!
TWO | MONTESSORI BUSY CUBE
This cube is perfect for ages 6 months and up! It is a great way for younger children to gain motor skills and each side of the cube has a variety of different activities to keep your little ones engaged. All of these are handmade and are nontoxic. They come in a variety of colors and styles and are sure to be a hit this year!
THREE | NAME PUZZLE
Another great puzzle idea for a little one is this name puzzle! Children ages 6 months and up are sure to have fun playing with a customized puzzle made just for them! Personalizing it with their name and favorite animals, along with the ability to pick the color makes this a one-of-a-kind gift!
FOUR | KIWICO Subscription
Kiwi Co is a subscription-based business that aims to inspire and nurture creativity in children. They were founded by a mom of three, who took it as her mission to “celebrate kids' natural creativity and curiosity”. They have a variety of subscriptions for children of all ages, and you can choose which kind of plan you would like. Think anything from crafts, to learning music, to cooking! Lots of fun options for all interests.
FIVE | The Dough Project
Children of all ages love dough, slime, or all of the above! In fact, a preschool teacher from NYC knew exactly that and created The Dough Project. She wanted to make a dough that's safe for children and free from dyes, preservatives, and other things we don’t want our children playing with. All of the dough she creates is plant based, and has natural ingredients. The dough comes in a variety of colors (all dyed from plants!), and you can mix and match to create a personalized box specifically for your child.
SIX | Yappy Personalized Book
One of the best gifts that we gave to our nephews last year was a personalized book to find our dog Waffles. You choose the breed and color of your dog, and Yappy will customize a “Where is (insert dog’s name here)” book for you! It’s like Where Is Waldo - but the custom dog version! These are definitely not too easy, but it does turn into a wonderful game for the entire family! They even throw in some easter eggs for the whole family to find on every page.
SEVEN | SNOWMAN KIT
Another great find for the kids in your family, is this snowman kit from LL. Bean. This kit includes not just a face for your snowman, but it even comes with items to make a snowpet! Your kids will be sure to have the best snowman on the block! It makes for some fun family time too!
EIGHT | Personalized Stationery
You can never go wrong with personalized stationery! Whether it’s a design with their names, or something more unique with their favorite animal, kids will always have a purpose for stationery, especially if it has a cute watercolor of a horse or dinosaur! Add their name to the stationery and it can be used for thank you notes or always a great game of playing teacher/house! Are your kids too young to write letters/notes? We have these fill-in-the-blank notecard sets (and these for even younger writers) for those kids who are just learning to write - a great way to learn how to write and send thank you notes!
Kids can definitely be picky, but they can also light up a room when they have received a gift made just for them! Check out these recommendations and let us know if you have any other suggestions for gift ideas for kids in the comments below!
Peace and Blessings,
